1. Who is the data controller?

The purpose of this Privacy Notice for Website Visitors (the “Notice”) is to fulfil our obligation to inform website visitors under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”) and the related Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

The data controller is TECT BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“TecT”), registered with the Kocaeli Trade Registry under number 38867 and with MERSIS number 0833115999400001.

2. Which personal data do we process?

Through this website we process the following categories of personal data: identity data (name, surname), contact data (e-mail), customer transaction data (requests and complaints), professional data (your company and job title) and transaction security data (cookie records, IP address).

When contacting us through the forms on our website or by e-mail, please do not share personal data beyond what we request, and never share special categories of personal data (such as race or ethnic origin, political opinion, religious or philosophical belief, physical or mental health, genetic or biometric data, association or union membership, dress, sexual life or orientation, criminal convictions and security measures).

3. For which purposes do we process your personal data?

a. Cookie records: so that the TecT website displays all its functions and works correctly.
b. Identity, contact, customer transaction and professional data: to follow up the requests and complaints you send through the forms on our website.
c. Transaction security data: to evidence that we have fulfilled our obligation to inform as data controller and to monitor and record explicit consent processes.
d. Where you give your consent, all of this data may also be processed by TecT, and transferred for the same purposes, on the legal basis of “explicit consent”, in order to announce products, services, invitations and events, run customer satisfaction surveys and carry out promotion, advertising, sales and marketing activities, including commercial electronic messages (SMS, calls, e-mail) in accordance with applicable law.

4. What rights do you have?

Under Law No. 6698 you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information on how it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data has been transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request erasure or destruction of your data within the conditions set out in the legislation; request that corrections, erasures and destructions be notified to the third parties with whom your data was shared; object to a result against you arising from analysis of your data solely by automated systems; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
